We entered Nova Scotia on July 5 and were greeted by this lovely sign. We are planning to travel through this province once we visit Newfoundland.

We were not able to get on the ferry today so decided to drive the Cabot Trail--the northern top of Nova Scotia. Along the way we visited the Gaelic College. This young man was earning his tuition by playing the bagpipe for two weeks/ 8 hours a day. He was quite good.

We stopped for lunch at Neils Cove where we visited this lighthouse. Notice the maple leaves painted on the windows.

This is Meat Cove along our drive. It is a good example of the gorgeous coastline we have seen along our drive.
